As well as our public courses and events and our work with schools and youth groups, The Trill Trust runs specific educational and skills development programmes for targeted groups. Trill Farm, its beautiful landscapes and diverse enterprises are the perfect place to help people to learn useful new skills, develop confidence and self esteem and recover their self reliance.

Grow. Cook. Make. Mend.

With funding from Devon County Council through their Community Impact Support Scheme, The Trill Trust is running a skills development programme for people who want to get get back on their feet and in to work. We will be taking 12 participants, one day per week for 2016, who will build their own vegetable garden, learn how to turn their lovingly nurtured produce in to healthy nutritious food with Chris in the Old Dairy Kitchen and gain woodwork skills with Ruth, our carpenter in her workshop.

As well as carpentry, horticulture and catering, participants will gain experience in a real work setting, learn transferable practical and personal skills, improve their health and wellbeing and gain the confidence and motivation required to re-engage positively with their local communities.

As the project develops we will be adding more news, until then, contact for more information.
